As part of the GREENKG project: “GREEN and Digital Universities for Sustainable Development of Kyrgyzstan”, the creation of the National Network of Universities of Kyrgyzstan "Green and Digital Universities" was planned. A significant effort was made to implement this task. In March 2025, Osh State University (OshSU) developed a draft agreement on the creation of this network, which was submitted for discussion.
All project participants contributed proposals to the agreement and coordinated it with their respective leaderships.
To adopt the document for the creation of this network, on May 15–16, 2025, OshSU held an international scientific-practical conference titled: “Creating the National GDU Network: Challenges and Implementation Paths”.
During the two-day conference, the current status of the GREENKG project and the agreement on the establishment of the National Network of Universities of the Kyrgyz Republic were discussed in detail. More information:
After amendments and additions, the agreement was officially adopted by authorized representatives of 10 participating universities.

Osh State University (OshSU) has done significant work in establishing the National Network of Universities of the Kyrgyz Republic “Green and Digital Universities”. A draft agreement for the creation of this network was developed and submitted for discussion. All project participants coordinated the text of the agreement with their respective administrations.
On May 15–16, 2025, an international scientific-practical conference was organized on the topic: “Creation of the National GDU Network: Goals and Implementation Paths” (https://gdu.oshsu.kg/conferen.php). The conference program is attached.
During the two-day conference, participants discussed the current state of the GREENKG project: “GREEN and Digital Universities for Sustainable Development of Kyrgyzstan”, as well as the agreement on the creation of the National Network and its implementation plan.
